On September 6, the Chair of the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, the Committee members Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Sophia Hovsepyan, Harutyun Babayan, Anna Kostanyan, Vahagn Tevosyan and Lilit Stepanyan were hosted by the AR NA President Ashot Ghulyan during their visit to Artsakh Republic.

The Chair of the AR NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Armen Sargsyan also attended the meeting.

Mkhitar Hayrapetyan presented details on the works to be implemented by the Committee during the NA upcoming session.

The interlocutors debated items aimed at harmonizing the legislations of the two Armenian republics as much as possible, touched upon the works for strengthening the relations between the relevant Committees.

The MPs especially emphasized the signing of the Memorandum between the two Committees in the future which, according to them, would give new quality to the inter-parliamentary cooperation.
